Karrar Jassim joins Esteghlal

TEHRAN- Free-agent Karrar Jassim joined Esteghlal on a one-year contract on Sunday.

The 24-year old Iraqi midfielder, whose contract is thought to be worth $700,000, played for Traktorsazi of Tabriz last season.
Jassim participated in Esteghlal’s training on Sunday and returned to Iraq to take part in the preparation camp for Yemen match in the 2014 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers.
Former Al-Wakrah striker played 47 times for Tabriz-based team from 2009 to 2011 and scored 12 times
